PS Valstagna - Scary road snake - 01
Hi everyone. At this time I want to share my future project on which I work so far. "PS Valstagna" is a very interesting (it's one of the reasons why I working on it) iconic rally road with long history.
More info you can find there http://www.psvalstagna.it/ or in FB group
Over 7 km is done and the same is waiting. A very hard place for modeling with data limitation, but overall, I hope you like the result that we finally have.
Thank Valerio - patreon of this project, and see you next - peace!

ReplyDeleteThank you mate, for your support and motivation
DeleteWOW! it looks amazing :-) Didn't you think also about "monte carlo" version with some snow and ice here and there? Something like Passo Valle? This stage profile tempts to surfaces like this :-)..
ReplyDeleteSo far no, but is a long time waiting up to finish this track modeling - it's 14 km to go. 7 km is done...
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon:-)I immediately want to apologize for my "intemperance", but I still decided to ask you how the work on VALSTAGNA is progressing?:-)this is a very cool track, and you are really a GURU:-)All your tracks are very, very cool!!!:-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, I don't think so well about myself. Anyway working, on it. There is a lot of works because all need to do from scratch. Location is interesting, but very hard when working with elevation data, so that is why, Google maps, have many mistakes on them... In the beginning, I planned to finish in the half of the year, but now, it took close to two years and I not ending :(
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine how difficult it is to create tracks for RBR, I can only say. that your tracks always turn out fantastic, and Valstagna is just a masterpiece!:-)I always look forward to "something new" from you, because I know that it will be "Cool"! :-)good luck, patience and inspiration in everything you do!:-) With great respect!
ReplyDeleteSoon will be more news, working on the last part, adjusting roads by width and rotation angle, and so on.
ReplyDeleteNiceNiceNice!!!:-)
